Who pays for parking?

The vehicle is provided for the convenience of your use and is parked either on your site, or in an allocated parking bay provided by your Company. Any parking charges incurred whilst the car is in use will be the responsibility of the current vehicle hirer.

Who pays for fines?

The driver at the time of obtaining a fine becomes solely responsible for any costs incurred as a result of fines / parking tickets / speeding tickets / etc.

How much does this scheme cost me?

Each scheme is tailored to meet the core needs of your companies travel plan. There are pre pay options and Pay-on use. Contact us to find out more.

How many cars do I need?

That depends on your business. 1 vehicle could be used by up to 50 people, or as small a group of 10.

Can I get more cars if needed?

Providing that the cars are achieving an optimum utilisation CCC will provide further vehicles to meet your demands.

Do you promote the scheme to my employees?

Yes. We will assist in providing appropriate Internal Marketing material, as well as running open days where employee’s can come and see how the scheme works and what the benefits are to them.

What if usage is lower than anticipated?

If usage is low, and the vehicle is not being used enough, CCC will potentially remove the vehicle from your fleet. This is to save cost to you, and to ensure that the most efficient travel model is in place for your business. Leaving cars sat around would not be either green or cost efficient.

How long is the contract for?

Minimum term is 12 months.

Can we cancel the agreement?

Yes, following the procedure set out in the terms and conditions.

What if someone is late returning the car?

There are processes in place that mean if the vehicle is returned late, CCC will have already notified you of this and if possible, made alternative arrangements for you. The driver of the vehicle who is returning late may be subject to fixed penalties at the discretion of CCC.

What if someone leaves my company and is a member of the scheme?

When an employee leaves your business and is a member of the CCC scheme, you must inform of us this immediately and collect the chip card from the employee and return it to CCC. There membership will be terminated immediately.

How does this fit with my existing fleet policy?

CCC’s scheme is designed to run alongside your existing fleet policy. We are not looking to provide like for like replacement vehicles but rather to provide you with a cost effective and greener option for travel during work hours.

Where do the cars get parked?

On the scheme holders site, or in nominated parking bays provided by the scheme holder.

How does this help with my Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy?

By becoming a member of CCC, you are showing that you care more about the environment, and your employees. CCC’s rigorous checks on drivers allow us to determine who is eligible and who is not based on their driving history. Every year, each member is subject to a DVLA license check, before being allowed to drive one of the vehicles. Further benefit to your CSR policy is that all of our cars provided are sub 120 g/km.

Who can use the cars?

Any employee of your business, providing they have been registered with CCC and they meet all the insurance criteria and license checking.

Who maintains the car?

CCC is responsible for the maintenance and continued good condition of the car. There are measures in place to ensure that all damage is quickly and effectively reported to CCC and can then be dealt with. Each car is also cleaned and spot checked on an regular basis ( at least every 2 weeks )

Who owns the cars?

The cars are wholly owned by CCC.

What if there’s a problem with the car?

All cars come with 24 hr breakdown assistance.

What if the car is involved in an accident?

Each driver is comprehensively insured and will have a £250 excess applied to them. Should anyone be involved an accident, details of who to contact and what to do is contained in the vehicle or obtained from the CCC helpline.

What level of insurance do you provide?

Fully Comprehensive.

Can my staff’s partners/family drive these cars?

No. The scheme is designed specifically for businesses and their employee’s.

Can anyone drive?

Unfortunately no. A full listing of the insurance criteria can be found on your own membership page for your review.

How does this help my carbon footprint?

All CCC cars have a low CO2 output. By promoting the use of CCC cars your carbon output on business mileage will significantly reduce as staff will no longer be using their own vehicles.

What if one of my employees fails to meet your insurance criteria?

We will look at each new member as an individual. Even if it looks like some of your employee’s will not qualify as members, we will happily take down there details and discuss with our insurers whether or not they could be eligible.

Who pays for fuel?

Each car comes with a dedicated fuel card. Please use this for filling up.

Breakdown/accident cover?

All cars come with full breakdown cover.

Am I taxed on this/ is this a taxable benefit?

No, as an individual you won’t be taxed on this as it is not seen as a P11D benefit.

How does the corporate car club card work?

The card is required to lock and unlock the car; you can only gain entry when you have reserved the car for your use.

Why don’t I buy some eco-friendly pool cars for my staff to use?

It would certainly help to lower your CO2 output but all CCC cars are fitted with advanced technology to track and record all journey and driver details. CCC manages the whole process for you with all of the required back up that’s needed.
